About Cooking Classes

The only thing that gives Chef Nader Gebrin the same satisfaction of creating world- class cuisine is sharing his secrets with others so they can create the same dishes. With this in mind, Gebrin several years ago began a program of hosting cooking classes at his restaurant and also privately in the kitchen of his customers. Since he started this, it’s been one of the hottest tickets in town!

The classes run on Sunday afternoon and each class is planned with a different menu. Here are the details:

• Classes are always on a scheduled Sunday, from 12:00-3:30.
• They are done in a classroom style.
• Chef Gebrin chooses 4 different items to show you how to prepare.
• The classes are demonstration style. In other words, they are not “hands on” - however, Nader has a kitchen area set up in the front of the restaurant (for those of you who haven’t been there before - we are very small - 14 tables).

The class procedure is as follows: After the class participants arrive, Nader’s wife Mary offers notebooks and pencils to take notes (you don’t have to if you don’t want to because we email you the recipes after the class). While Nader is teaching how to prepare the dishes, at the same time the chef is making the same dishes in the kitchen for all the participants to eat. When the class is finished everyone eats featured dishes.

Each dish prepared by Nader is raffled off so there’s a chance you may go home with more food!

Each class is different. Nader always features and excellent variety of dishes - all of which YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME!

• Crabcakes
• Stuffed veal chop
• A variety of various pastas
• A variety of various salads
• Grilled vegetables
• Chicken Rolatini
• Chicken Scarpriello
• Veal Parmesean
• Veal Marsala
• Strawberry Flambe’
• Various Fresh Fish and Seafood dishes
• Osso Buco
• Grilled and stuffed eggplant
• Various Middle Eastern Dishes on occasion.
