FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH BRAVO NADER - NADER IS THE CHEF . HE WENT TO CULINARY SCHOOL IN SWITZERLAND FOR 4 YEARS. BRAVO NADER HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 14 YEARS. THE LAST 3 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN VOTED THE "BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT ON LONG ISLAND" BY AOL CITY GUIDE. WE ALSO RANK EXTRAORDINARY TO PERFECTION BY ZAGAT. WE ARE ALSO IN THE TOP 500 SOUTHERN ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE UNITED STATES, ACCORDING TO ZAGAT. NADER IS ALSO RANKED A "CELEBRITY CHEF".
The classes are always on a scheduled Sunday, from 12:00-3:30. They are done in a demonstration/classroom style class. Chef Nader chooses 4 different items to show you how to prepare. Then you eat it!! The classes cost $100.00 plus gratuity, per person - this includes all beverages (beer, wine, soda), food , napoleon , cappuccino, espresso , and of course the lessons. We welcome singles, couples, groups, friends, etc.

HOW THE CLASSES WORK
The classes are demonstration style. In other words, they are not "hands on" - however, Nader has a kitchen area set up in the front of the restaurant (for those of you who haven't been there before - we are very small - 14 tables). How it works is: you come in, Mary offers you a notebook & a pencil to take notes if you like - you don't have to if you don't want to because she emails you the actual recipes after the class, so you can pay more attention to how Nader is showing the preparation of the actual dish. While Nader is teaching you how to make the dish, at the same time the chef is making it in the kitchen. So when Nader is done showing you - you get to eat what he taught you!!!! We also raffle off the dish he has just completed. So you might go home with a meal, too!! This is repeated with 4 different items. Every class is different. Nader always chooses a great variety of dishes - all of which YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELVES!!!. Some examples of what he chooses are: crab cakes, stuffed veal chop, pastas, salads, grilled vegetables, chicken dishes (rolatini, scarpriello), veal dishes (parmesean, marsala), strawberry flambe, fish, seafood, ossobuco, eggplant dishes (grilled, stuffed).
